Cable ISP, at least in theory, is the fastest among other broadband services. Maximum speed of cable modems is 20 Mbps.
Cable Internet service uses the same coax cable as your cable TV service, and shares bandwidth with other subscribers. However, cable broadband Internet service is much more readily available in most areas than DSL ISPs.
